It gives us great pleasure to bring Jenny and Ricardo Oria to Glasgow on 1st and 2nd June for a focussed and fun weekend of workshops. Fine tune your frenos, polish your pasadas, burnish your barridas, add sizzle to your sacadas and varnish your vals with Scotland’s finest tango teachers! Expect upbeat, expert tuition and a lasting effect on your dancing.

Saturday 1st June: Workshops at Hillhead Primary School, 110 Otago St, Glasgow G12 8NS
1) – 10.30am to 12 : Pieces of eight. Finding hidden treasures in pivots and ochos.
2) – 12.15 to 1.45pm : Tango footsie. Catches, sweeps and playful interactions with the feet.
3) – 2.15 to 3.45pm : The space in between. Smooth, successful sacadas.
Guide to workshop levels:
The three Saturday workshops contain elements to interest and inspire everyone; from developing dancers seeking to learn new techniques, to experienced dancers wishing to enhance the quality of their movement.
The two Sunday workshops are aimed at experienced dancers looking to explore new challenges and push their tango to a higher level.

Price and payment
One workshop – £19 per person
Two workshops – £36 per person
Three or more workshops – £17 each per person
Payment details will be sent to you when we confirm your booking.
We will match numbers in each role. Please book try to book with a partner. Individual bookings will be confirmed on a first come first served basis once we have someone to balance you.
Everyone will be invited to change partners at intervals during the workshops, while allowing paired couples plenty of opportunity to practise together.
